A totally unique very hand made Bookcase / Display Unit.
This one off piece is made using all live/natural front edge Huon Slabs.
The Huon used in this awesome piece was all salvaged from the Gordon River near Strahan Tasmania. No part of this incredible tree has ever been subject to a chainsaw cutting it down ! it is all salvaged under strict conditions.
Each piece used here shows its incredible age ( 100's of years old ) and reflects the extreme hard life of the Huon Pine in nature.
An amazing bonus we discovered once the careful sanding of the timber took place was the Birds Eye feature in three of the five shelves, making it a unique and valuable item.
It measures : 1900 mm high x 1900 mm wide and the shelves are an average of 300 mm deep.
